This page contains general information on the 1st Niagara Scout Groups Hut.
The calendar to the right are the current bookings for the hut. This will include any additional booking of groups not part of the 1st Niagara.
Please note that our sections take priority when you are booking a stay with us.
The hut can be rented. Send us an e-mail if you would like more information.
Come join us on Saturday, January 28, 2006 for our Grand Re-Opening of the 1st Niagara Scout Hut.
Thank-you to all the people involved in the re-building of the 1st Niagara Scout Hut.
The sections will be moving back into the Hut during the week of November 28th. Many activities will be coming up in the next couple of months, such as Euchre, an Open House, a Thank you night, as well as regular meetings, sleepovers and camp outs. Check out the calendar for additional details on these and many other activities.
The hut is being rebuilt as you read this, we hope to move back in Early November. Very soon a page will be set up showing all stages of the Hut rebuilding.
On Friday, March 11, 2005, the long time home of the 1st Niagara Scout Group (The Scout Hut on Leeming Street) suffered extensive damage as a result of a fire.
The Leaders and members of the 1st Niagara Scout Group would like to sincerely thank all those who have expressed concern over the loss of the building and also to those who have offered assistance.
Fortunately, the program will continue for all sections due to the generosity of the local community.
